Deconstructing Alan
Socrates |
Alan |
I can’t believe you actually exist in Singapore, are you? |
Alan |
Socrates |
Exist in Singapore? I guess. Would prefer to exist elsewhere (muaahhaha), or maybe i am existing elsewhere. What do you think about it? I never felt like I was living after I came back here. |
Socrates |
Alan |
mm, yes, from the way you sounded just now, somehow or rather you still exist, and that’s amazing, especially in a ferocious structural atmosphere |
Alan |
Socrates |
YES. Totally. What to do? Everybody has to play the game, otherwise you lose! And then you can’t go back to where you left yourself either. A lose lose situation. |
Socrates |
Alan |
yes, is a choice, not an option |
Alan |
Socrates |
So what’s an option? |
Socrates |
Alan |
Either your mind exist or the world is not |
Alan |
Socrates |
I would prefer the world not (AAHAHA), but maybe it doesn’t la, just go mucking around everyday and being so pathetic, eventually it doesn’t exist. |
Socrates |
Alan |
yes, because existence is a lie |
Alan |
Socrates |
you mean like in matrix terminology? (AHHAA) |
Socrates |
Alan |
yes, that’s the analogy |
Alan |
Socrates |
Do you believe in a similar analogy? When you die, your existence becomes painfully real, because you lose it. Why not be aware of it now? |
Socrates |
Alan |
Because is a lie, and Being is the guardian for all things exist in Nothing |
Alan |
Socrates |
That’s if you believe there is no purpose to existence. |
Socrates |
Alan |
No no, there is purpose in existence, and the purpose is about Nothing |
Alan |
Socrates |
Even if you take the very most basic purpose? |
Socrates |
Alan |
Yes yes of course, Nothing produces something, so all things must have start from Nothing, even the bright universes are from dark matters |
Alan |
Socrates |
Science says that we are here to reproduce, but of course if we don’t, that means we defy purpose, and then we exist for nothing, not sure we existed from nothing… |
Socrates |
Alan |
Yes yes, but science is structural, the world, which is independent from our mind, our existence, Being and Nothingness |
Alan |
Socrates |
Actually, I did feel that way. Well…. No! I still feel that way! But you know, people drown it out by doing things to distract themselves like they know they’re going to die … They not sure what the purpose is, so they get busy and do everything they need to do to distract them from that morbidity
Socrates |
Alan |
Yes yes, existence give meaning to life, and itself is a titanic theater |
Alan |
Socrates |
So what do you do to distract yourself? It seems to me, you’re constantly reminding yourself of this morbidity instead. I can’t do that, I might end up killing myself |
Socrates |
Alan |
No no, the meaning of life is to know Nothing so that you can live to do something useful |
Alan |
Socrates |
How can you do something useful if you know nothing? |
Socrates |
Alan |
Yes, yes, for instance you won’t know you are happy unless you are in pain, no pain no gain, and no gain, no game |
Alan |
Socrates |
Yes, sometimes that’s true |
Socrates |
Alan |
Yes yes, all things are in context, but context itself is Nothing |
Alan |
Socrates |
if you don’t strive to achieve something and get hurt in the process, you don’t feel like you’re living. |
Socrates |
Alan |
Yes yes, this is exactly what I just said, but you put it into different context, is Nothing, but at least you say something
Alan |
Socrates |
(Hahahah) it’s really interesting talking to you, one of the rare few I ever manage to talk about such things to. |
Socrates |
Alan |
Yes, yes, because we are boring people, so we know what interesting means to us. |
Alan |
Socrates |
(AHAHAHA), exactly! |
Socrates |
Alan |
Yes yes |
